Next week, at the International Cannabis Bar Association’s Cannabis Law Institute, Shay will lead a discussion about the legacy-to-legal transition for cannabis businesses in recent history in the United States. From Sturm College of Law at The University of Denver, Shay will be joined on stage by renowned trial lawyer and author of “California Cannabis Laws,” Omar Figueroa; celebrated criminal defense lawyer and NORML Board Chair, Joseph Bondy; Special Advisor on Cannabis to Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Ean Seeb; and Sabrina Noah, Principal at NRM Consulting. As part of the Cannabis Law Institute’s two days of programming, Shay’s panel will proceed as a plenary session open to all attendees.
